Spreading kindness

🌟 Spreading kindness 🌟

‍

Some of our young people in our Thrive Alternative Education Provision took part in a Youth Social Action project over the last few weeks.

‍

The project they wanted to do was to spread kindness in their local community, Stowmarket.

‍

They created cards with positive affirmations and words of inspiration and encouragement. To do this they created 100 notes to stick up around their local town, Stowmarket, for people to find to bring some joy to their day. The notes also asked people to pay it forward.

‍

John Peel Centre for Creative Arts and Bonitas Wholefoods are two places that have taken some of the notes.

‍

If you find a card please take it home with you and they’re asking people to pay it back by coming into The Mix to leave a nice message about young people at our postbox at front of house.

‍

BBC Radio Suffolk popped down to chat with Aimee (Thrive Project Lead) and Astrid (Together Project Youth Worker) who led the project and walked through the town to find some notes.

‍

These young people did an amazing job and it’s such a lovely idea.

‍

How do you spread kindness?
